Educational App for History

Title of Application: Grammarly  Platform Availability: iOS, Android, Windows, MacOS.  Description and Purpose: Grammarly is designed to provide the user with grammar and writing assistance through different suggestions that include correctness, clarity, engagement, and delivery.  Evaluation:   Students can easily install the browser extension on any laptop or phone and the app will always be in use. No matter what the student writes, whether it be an email or an essay, the student’s work will be analyzed by Grammarly to correct it and provide suggestions to improve the student’s writing. Grammarly encourages the development of thinking skills as it helps improve the writing skills students have as they are writing throughout the History course. Students are even provided with an overall performance score and shown suggestions on where they could improve to achieve a score of 100. Grammarly is helpful for any type of writing in general as it checks your writing and grammar skills! Grammarly will allow you as the user to focus on critical thinking as you write since it will highlight the low-level issues of grammar for you. This is helpful as History requires individuals to think critically but also have good grammar and writing skills. All students should install Grammarly on their computers as it will increase student writing skills and grammar, which is necessary for History.
